I installed phpCOIN because it was easy to install at my host.
You gotta love people who put stuff like this on their home page:
Support via email will be billed at $50 per question. If your question was already answered in the support forums or in the online manual, the fee will increase to $100 per question
anyway, after getting the software installed, it is very complicated to work.
The instructions are minimal and don't really give you enough information to really do anything.
The problem is that you have to set up cron, which I did, but I am not sure if it is working right or not.
Then you have to enter all the customer information, then you have orders you have to enter all the information for that, then you have invoices. It looks like it is suppose to send out emails (which is the main feature that I am looking for) but I have not seen any evidence that any were sent out. I have entered multiple customers, orders, and invoices probably 20 total.
I found some reference to it sending out emails after 10 and 20 days, but I can find at least 3 of the orders and 3 or 4 invoices but nothing looks like it is being sent out.
So I am calling this very confusing, and complicated. It looks like it could work if you could understand what it was doing but with the triple entry system I am wondering if it is worth all the extra work, I would like to be able to enter a order one time then have it keep track of it and send out emails.
