Classic bug converted to all electric power. Charges on any 120 volt outlet, charge time from a regular outlet is 6-7hours (just plug it in every night). This is a wonderful neighborhood car: top speed of 40 mph but generally cruises at 35 mph. It currently needs a new battery pack, which I can arrange to install. You would pay $4,000 for the car and $5,000 for the new battery pack, fully installed: 77v battery 100ah GBS cells. This pack will provide a good average of 25-30mi per charge with a min of 20mi and max of 35-40mi. (You also have the option to select a larger battery pack for an additional $3,000-$4,000 to increase the range: 77v battery 200ah GBS cells. This would yield a good average of 50mi range with a max of 60-65mi and min of 35-40mi.) Electric specs: 66 volt system, 6 volt flooded batteries (US Battery Co), D & D 6.7" motor, custom adapter plate, Altrax 72v 450a Controller, Elcon CHarger 1.5 Kw, Elcon DC to DC 300w, PakTrakr battery gauge.
The car in good condition inside and out, fairly new interior everything except dash cover, new seatbelts, new cd player and speaker, fairly new paint job. This is a beautiful car for getting around town, and gets lots of smiles!
