Websites you can post by email

I have been looking for sites that I can post by email.
my idea was that I would find a way to email an rss feed then have the emails go out to different sites that would repost them.

so far it's pretty much not working.

These sites let you post by email:

http://twitterfeed.com - works good, picks up RSS feed and publishes it to twitter and facebook, Statusnet, Hellotxt, Linkedin

http://utopiaforum.posterous.com/ - this site will post to several other sites but only the title and a link back to posterous, so it's not that useful.

The following sites have email posting, but it does not work:

http://ping.fm - this site works some, but does not post anywhere on their own site.


The following sites have the ability to read and post an RSS feed:

http://utopiaforum.soup.io/ - this site posts the whole feed including pictures and works really good.

http://ping.fm - this site will read one RSS feed and post the titles, with a link back to the original post.

http://www.typepad.com/micro/ - you have to go to this page all other pages are for their pro service which charges you $8.95 per month.
and you have to sign up for facebook first and use your facebook password to get a blog here.
it looks like typepad has 57 other sites that it can post to, if you post on their site.
oh, I just tried tumblr.com and all it does is add typepad to your profile page on the other site, kind of useless.
it looks like it can only share posts on facebook and twitter.

The following sites do Not have email posting:

http://www.myspace.com/576970415/stream - this one is able to pick up posts somewhere, I just didn't write down where I was sending the feed from.

http://lifestream.aol.com/stream/utopiaforum - if you start a blog here, write down your url, you may never find it again. is able to read from ping.fm they also do small pictures on this site.

http://utopiaforum.xanga.com/ - no email posting.

pixelpipe.com - can post to several different services also has a nice feature where it lists the capabilities of each service so you know what they can do. But no way to read any information, pick up a feed, or post by email.

The following sites do not work:

http://hellotxt.com/hunderdbling -  hellotxt.com - signed up, but when I try to post it says backend send fail. it also can not connect to posterous.com, and it can not let twitterfeed connect because it can't produce an API user key. and why does this not surprise me that post by email does not work either. this site is one step up from useless.

friendster.com - this is clasic, posted on their site:

No.  The profile info, photos, messages, comments and blogs from the old Friendster had been deleted.  Sorry but there really is no way to retrieve your old data.

really gives you a lot of confidence in their site.

status.net - could never get the site to do anything. it won't let you use gmail, which is my favorite email of all time.

yesmail.com - from looking at their site, I am not sure what this site does, but most likely nothing useful.
