I was able to make some progress, I got the domain name set up and my hosting working,
This took me about 5 hours, every time I turned around there was some kind of problem with something,
I had to contact customer support 2 times to get them to straighten things out on their end.
But it's working, and I picked a template that I like, and spent about 4 hours working getting it set up.
I signed up for the two services Feedburner and Clicky, and got the code added to my site.
I also worked on setting up some software for unwanted comments, but I didn't get that working.
now I am thinking about wasting some more time and setting up facebook comments to see how that works.
I also made 3 posts to kind of get things started, probably should have paced myself more, the hard part is going to be not burning out.
It is very surprising how many hours all these things took, I would have guessed it would have only taken a fraction of that time.
There is still a long way to go, but I did make some progress so I am happy with that.
