Blogger Deleting Blogs

It looks like blogger.com is deleting blogs that are hosted on blogspot because they are linking out to other sites.  

This is really scary to me, I have put a lot of time into my blogs and I would be severely impacted if I were to lose them all.

I have thought about dividing them up into different accounts, but part of the reason that they work so well is that they are easy to use.  If they were in different accounts then I would have to log in each time I wanted to make a post to one of them.

This would really complicate things, of course when you compare that to losing everything – all of a sudden it does not look like such a bad idea.

It looks like they are targeting blogs that are hosted on blogspot but even if that’s the case who is to say that sites hosted elsewhere are not next.
