Manual Submission To Search Engines

Almost all search engines provide some type of method to submit your site manually.

This process is almost useless, I am trying to think of a situation that you would want to do this - I can’t think of a single case where this would be a good use of your time.

Your time would be much better spent finding a good site to post your link to and then the search engines will pick it up from there.  This will be a lot faster than submitting to the search engine directly.

There are a lot of search engines that offer a paid inclusion service that will speed up the process of getting your site indexed. These are a waste of money, it will probably get your site listed but if you get a few links it will do the same thing.
