Addicted To Checking My Adsense Account

When I first signed up with Google adsense I would log into my account several times a day.  I would always check and Today’s Earnings would always be $0.00  that only makes sense if you have no ads your not going to make any money.

Then after several weeks someone clicked on one of my ads and I made my first sale.

It was very exciting and that started me on my long road of Adsense addiction,  I have been addicted ever sense.

I started checking almost hourly, of course it was several days maybe even a week before I would get my next click.  So checking hourly to see what had happened was a huge waste of time.  But I just couldn’t stop myself.

I was just reading about a some other publishers who have been spending a lot of time watching their Adsense account.  Of course some people are making enough money where it is interesting to see what has happened since the last time they checked.

I have tried telling myself I am only going to check once a month, or once a week.  This will last for a day at the most.  Then I am right back checking several times an hour.  Recently I have really been working hard and I have been able to cut back to about 3 or 4 times a day.  I try to wait until at least noon or 1pm to give my self a chance at someone clicking something for the day.

If there is a solution to this problem I don’t know what it is. I would like to just stop checking and spend all that time doing something more productive, but I just can’t.

Well, I would type some more but I have to go check my Adsense and see if anything has changed in the last 30 minutes.
