Blogging For Dollars

I have been reading about some bloggers that are making some serious money, over 100k per year. That’s the kind of blogging for dollars I would not mind doing.

I kind of like blogging, I know a few interesting things that might make it worth while for someone to read. So I figured I could start making some money blogging myself.

The idea is very interesting to me; I can work from home, set my own hours write few interesting posts and make $100k.  I like it.

I did some more research and started finding that it’s not all that easy to make a lot of money blogging.

The amount of work that some of these guys do is crazy.  For example:

• For the last 4 years averaging 6000 posts per year on his blog.


• For the last 3 years posting to 30 blogs, 1 blog averages 5 posts per day.

Ok, I just checked and I have trouble hitting 20 posts per month.

I could try a little harder and really push myself, and get it up to 30 per month?

Well it looks like these numbers are just not working out for me, so I guess I better start working a little harder at figuring out how to make some money another way.

It’s just doesn’t look like blogging is in my future, at least not blogging for dollars.
